Hand-marbled notebooks made by Christin Ripley in her Hudson Valley, NY studio. Christin uses the Turkish Ebru marbling technique, made by floating pigment atop a viscous liquid to create patterns that are captured by carefully floating paper or fabric on the liquid surface, absorbing the ink into its fibers. 30 pages, 70lb text-weight, neutral-ph archival paper, marbled 100lb cover, hand-bound pamphlet-stitch construction. Due to the handmade nature of the notebooks, each is one-of-a-kind with variations in color and pattern.
